Audrey Tautou In Dolce & Gabbana – ‘L’Ecume Des Jours’ Paris Premiere

Audrey Tautou In Dolce & Gabbana - 'L'Ecume Des Jours' Paris Premiere

Along with Romain Duris and Gad Elmaleh, Audrey Tautou attended the ‘L’Ecume Des Jours’ Paris premiere held at Cinema UGC Normandie in France on Friday.

The French actress, who normally opts for very simplistic looks, wore a Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2013 ensemble.

Her look featured a signature black lace long-sleeved top – instead of the floral appliqué runway top – and a high-waisted ‘Trio of Knights’ printed skirt.

I’m not a fan of the skirt at all; the print is very gaudy. I don’t think this look is doing anything for the usually stylish star.

This skirt is awful : the print and the lenght are not working here !

This is certainly a brave choice in a print but somehow I like it. I have no idea why. Perhaps it is because Ms Tautou is so pretty and chic in that French way she could get away with wearing almost anything. I love her work as an actress.

+1 – she is so beautiful and gifted as well as tres chic in a way that no one except french women can pull off…

I agree. Her chic attitude is really selling this look which might look a bit tacky and unrefined on somebody else.

      Agree!

+1 i actually like this look on her. so unexpected and she managed to look so elegant (people wearing this collection usually try to be sexy/quirky)

I was excited to see what she was wearing since I haven’t seen any pics of her lately. I wish I hadn’t looked….that’s hideous on her

    What a beautifull skirt!

I actually like this, she’s balanced it with the black lace.

      Agreed!

I like the outfit…..on the model. It does nothing for her. She just looks okay.

    • Yeliz April 23, 2013 at 16:55 #

      I agree.

The skirt’s print is a little overambitious. It could have balanced with a simple black top. However, with that tacky sheer lace top the look is a fail.

I don’t like this look, the skirt doesn’t work with the lace top, for me. I don’t particularly it, but I think it would be good for a daytime event, maybe with a simple top and a pair of sandals.

I actually adored this whole Dolce and Gabbana collection and am happy to see it finally hitting the red carpet, but I think she’s too small for this skirt. That model is hardly large, but I think you need a bit of hip span to pull of a skirt with such a bold image. Otherwise, it just looks like a jumbled pattern.

    That dress is amazing.
