All of my top 5 are included here, but I cant believe you left off Olivia Munn and rather have Jennifer Garner, Octavia Spencer and Jessica Chastain. Naaah!

  2. Mol February 26, 2013 at 23:42 #

I liked the color of many of these gowns(Jennifer Garner, Kerry, Naomi, and Jane) vs the style, which generally seemed a bit prosaic. There was really only one stand out for me: Jessica Chastain. When I saw her being interviewed on the red carpet, I just fell in love with the bronze metallic undertone of the fabric, not to mention the fit, and overall feel of the whole thing. It was simple, but incredibly lush and sexy.

  3. Agathe February 26, 2013 at 23:15 #

Marion Cotillard didn’t attend the ceremonies and parties this year?
I don’t think you guys would like Jennifer Lawrence that much if Marion had walked the same red carpet as her that night.

  4. anjos February 26, 2013 at 22:36 #

    Naomi Watts.

  5. Dana February 26, 2013 at 22:18 #

Where is Amanda Seyfried!!! My style heroine

  6. CPF February 26, 2013 at 22:14 #

Stacy keibler stole the show in Naeem Kahn! That dress was so chic and elegant! Not sure why more stars weren’t wearing his gowns because they are STUNNING!!!

  7. Sammy C February 26, 2013 at 21:56 #

1, 2 and 3… In equal measures, for different reasons and in no particular order:

    Jennifer Lawrence
    Jessica Chastain
    Naomi Watts

    4. Amy Adams
    5. Charlize Theron
    6. Halle Berry
    7. Stacey Keibler
    8. Sally Field
    9. Kerry Washington
    10. Jane Fonda

Had I understood Zoe Saldana´s bow-belt, she would have been my N.4, moving everyone else down and leaving Jane Fonda out.

  8. CPF February 26, 2013 at 21:56 #

Stacy Keibler in Naeem Kahn was hands down the look of the night! Her dress was so chic and elegant without be too fussy, and her hair and makeup were flawless. I can’t understand why more people don’t wear Naeem Kahn gowns, they are simply STUNNING!!!!!

  9. Maybe February 26, 2013 at 21:47 #

I really miss Zoe Saldana! She was the best dressed in my opinion!

  10. TL February 26, 2013 at 21:27 #

My top 5: so hard to pick my favorite one….

    Jennifer Lawrence
    Stacy Keibler
    Naomi Watts
    Charlize Theron
    Zoe Saldana

  11. justme February 26, 2013 at 21:23 #

For me, it’s between Stacy Keibler and Charlize Theron.

  12. Amanda February 26, 2013 at 21:23 #

    Amy Adams!!

  13. Rita February 26, 2013 at 21:18 #

I loved Amy Adams and Sally Field… But I also loved Jennifer Lawrence and Charlize Theron

  14. C February 26, 2013 at 21:17 #

Saldana? I liked Reese Witherspoon too much much preferred the dresses at the parties. Of the list here, Octavia Spencer.

  15. Gunita February 26, 2013 at 20:57 #

I found Jessica Chastain’s look to be perfect, though I love Jennifer Lawrence , Octavia Spencer, Naomi Watts, Stacy Keibler and Jennifer Garner too.

  16. Mariia February 26, 2013 at 20:49 #

    No Zoe Saldana?

Since I can’t vote her I have to say that my favourite out of these lovely ladies is Jennifer Lawrence because, well, she’s Jennifer Lawrence. Her Dior gown is dreamy, but really I guess it’s her charm that wins. Charlize Theron looks amazing as well!

  17. kennedy February 26, 2013 at 20:47 #

Favorites were Amy Adams (she’s missing!) and Charlize.

  18. Gigi February 26, 2013 at 20:35 #

    W/o a doubt … Miss Kerry Washington!

  19. Aline February 26, 2013 at 20:33 #

It wasn’t the most exciting RC ever, I’ll agree on that. But I still think it was much better than the Globes, SAGs and even last year’s Oscar. I dunno, I found it very consistent. There are awards shows that I can barely come up with a top 5 and I have now realized I really liked over 13 looks.

    My favorites:
    1. Naomi Watts
    2. Stacy Keibler
    3. Nicole Kidman
    4. Amy Adams
    5. Alicia Vikander
    6. Charlize Theron
    7. Reese Witherspoon
    8. Sally Field
    9. Jane Fonda
    10. Jennifer Aniston
    11. Emmanuele Riva
    12. Sandra Bullock
    13. Halle Berry

  20. Denise February 26, 2013 at 20:18 #

I quite enjoed this years Oscars red carpet. My top 5 are :
    1. Naomi Watts (I give her 10 for her confidence)
    2. Jennifer Lawrence
    3. Charlise Theron
    4. Nicole Kidman (not in the poll ?)
    5. Steicy Keibler

  21. Nat39 February 26, 2013 at 20:18 #

Jessica Chastain’s old Hollywood star look was sublime(!!) Yes, it was safe but noone really brought it. There were a few more interesting looks that stood out but nothing really great or special. Jennifer Lawrence’s bridal-esque ball-gown wasn’t that fabulous, Fan’s bold statement didn’t translate that well, the so called ‘futuristic’ design of Naomi Watts’s gown was rather subpar, Charlize’s gown looked like a minimalist version of Kerry Washington’s Rodarte gown, it was very hard to get excited about it, loved Zoe’s different look but once again it wasn’t anything particularly great or special and was more of a SAG or Golden Globes material imo, same with Kerry Washington’s look – sweet pretty confection but nothing to get excited about and so on… In the absence of real good strong competition, Jessica’s gorgeous look stands strong – it’s flawless, it’s timelessly beautiful and had plenty of Oscar-worthy glamour in it, she gets my vote.
Jennifer Lawrence for doing something event-appropriately grand (even though I don’t care for the gown), Stacy Keibler (LOVED her look, h2t perfection), and Octavia Spencer (nailed it) follow.

Anne Hathaway – easily the most disappointing of the night.

    • Marybeth February 26, 2013 at 21:43 #

      That’s it — Kerry’s Rodarte!
(I was thinking that I had recently seen something quite similar to Charlize’s look but could not recall when or where.)

  22. Jeremy February 26, 2013 at 20:16 #

of this lot I voted for Jessica Chastain – love the old Hollywood vibe of it.

but seriously, seriously disappointed that my 2 favourites of the night weren’t included:

Nicole Kidman – that dress flattered her curves, looked like liquid gold, fit like a glove and was absolutely glamour.

Anne Hathaway – delicate and feminine and sooo Audrey-esque. this was my fav of the night. a perfect flawless dress that I think will be “classic” in years to come.

  23. Fanny February 26, 2013 at 20:12 #

    My top three:
    1. Alicia Vikander (who I’m missing here!)
    2. Kerry Washington (for bringing color and something different)
    3. Jennifer Lawrence (gorgeous!)

  24. Marybeth February 26, 2013 at 20:09 #

My top four are Jennifer Lawrence, Stacy Keibler, Octavia Spencer, and Charlize Theron.
I’ll have to think about it a while!

    Biggest disappointment – Anne Hathaway
Worst of those shown at RCFA – Heidi Klum *sigh*

    • Marybeth February 26, 2013 at 21:37 #

I’ve decided to vote for Octavia Spencer. She looked so good last year that I assumed she would wear a similar dress. Instead, she wowed me with this ultra-flattering, romantic gown, styled to perfection. Beautiful and Oscar-worthy.

Stacy Keibler is my runner-up. I absolutely love the dress and she does it full justice.

Jennifer Lawrence only gets my third place but I will be happy if she wins our poll. This was her big princess moment and she managed to carry it off very beautifully in Dior Couture. I was so glad to see her look so lovely!

  25. Abigail February 26, 2013 at 20:07 #

Could we get a Best Dressed After Party Poll too? I feel like some of the best gowns actually showed up after the awards show.

  26. abc February 26, 2013 at 20:05 #

Yaaawn! A thoroughly disappointing event, Naomi Watts and Jennifer Garner being the only stand outs, Jennifer’s pale lip just losing it for her for me… this event needed someone like Cate Blanchett to blow them out of the water and make them up their fashion game for next year…

  27. Moxie February 26, 2013 at 20:05 #

    My top 5 were:

    1 – Naomi Watts
    2 – Jessica Chastain
    3 – Charlize Theron
    4 – Jennifer Lawrence
    5 – Stacy Keibler

  28. ash February 26, 2013 at 20:04 #

    My list:

1)Jane Fonda in Atelier Versace- I think she looked phenomenal.

2)Anne Hathaway in Prada- It’s so bad that it’s good.

3)Charlize Theron in Dior- She would’ve been first if her dress wasn’t right out of Anne Hathaway and Kerry Washington’s closets.

  29. Kaz February 26, 2013 at 20:03 #

I loved the beauty and simplicity of both Charlize and Naomi. I voted for Naomi as she took a risk and it really paid off. She looks amazing.

  30. Katrin February 26, 2013 at 20:01 #

I had three favourites: Jessica Chastain (I like all her recent looks), Naomi Watts and Charlize Theron. I voted for Naomi, because she had the most interesting look. Overall it was a pretty boring red carpet in my opinion.

  31. Yeliz February 26, 2013 at 19:54 #

I never complain when my personal best dressed isn’t included in a best dressed poll, but in this case I think Amy Adams totally deserved to be in this poll.

    Here is my list:

    1. Naomi Watts & Amy Adams
    2. Charlize Theron
    3. Jennifer Lawrence
    4. Stacy Keibler
    5. Jessica Chastain
    6. Alicia Vikander
    7. Sandra Bullock
    8. Sally Field

    • Zee February 27, 2013 at 15:37 #

The thing with Amy’s dress was, it looked a little dated. I can instantly think of at least two very similar dresses that were worn in the previous big events like years ago…

  32. Delta February 26, 2013 at 19:53 #

Fan Bingbing and Jennifer Garner? You can’t be serious.
I miss Amy Adams and Olivia Munn in this list.

    • Amanda February 27, 2013 at 05:06 #

Amy should’ve made the list while Fan shouldn’t.

  33. Alina February 26, 2013 at 19:47 #

    Jessica Chastain in Armani Privé

  34. Elise February 26, 2013 at 19:46 #

At fashion level, it has been a quite disappointing and boring event.

    My top three:
    1 – Surprisingly Stacy Keibler
    2 – Naomi Watts
3 – Jennifer Lawrence. That gown is for Oscars or Cannes and she wore it quite well.

A shame the last minute change of gowns Anne did. If the rumors are true, the Valentino HC SS13 she was going to wear is to die for.

    • Bec February 26, 2013 at 22:29 #

Do you have a link to the dress she was going to wear? 🙂

    • Elise February 26, 2013 at 23:15 #

*pity instead of shame, just in case someone can misunderstand it, although in that sentence both words have the same meaning :). I miss Alicia Vikander and Sally Field they would have been my 4 and 5.

      • EmmaWoodhouse February 27, 2013 at 15:02 #

Oh, yes! I miss Alicia too! She and Amy and Zoe were on my list. Also, if Anne had worn that white Valentino, she would have been topping my list. Oh, what could have been!

    • julyol1972 February 26, 2013 at 23:28 #

I heard that she checked with Amanda on what she was wearing the day of the show and after seeing the picture of the dress, her and her stylist realized the colors were too similar. Jennifer Aniston was also scheduled to wear Valentino and her dress was similar to Anne’s. Seems like everyone then had to do a last minute switch. I feel badly for Anne because she’s taken major flak these past few weeks when some of it seems undeserved.

      • Elise February 27, 2013 at 17:23 #

I felt bad for her until I’ve read her official statement: one thing is the speculation, the gossip about what could happen, we love to do that, but
another thing is to say in public the Prada gown was the second option for the most important event in terms of fashion. In this case, a private apology to Valentino maison and the man himself would have been enough, and let the people with the gossip. Prada has to be quite happy with Anne’s statement, for sure… what a snub!

  35. Rashmi February 26, 2013 at 19:41 #

    1- Stacey Keibler
2- Jennifer Lawrence (beautiful gown though i would have liked to see some color)
3- Charlize Theron (simple gown, great poise!)
4- Jessica Chastain (looked much better in person than in pics)

  36. Prudence February 26, 2013 at 19:40 #

speechless at the results. I must be the only one who thought Jlawrences dress was a disaster.

    • dee February 27, 2013 at 13:37 #

No, you are not alone, I really don’t get the love for that gown. It was too bridal looking, I don’t like the silouhette and the color washes her out. I thought it was awful. Her party dress was hot and she should have worn that for the ceremony.

  37. Scott February 26, 2013 at 19:39 #

Can’t believe Zoe Saldana is not in the top 12! She’s easily in my top 3

    • VBLover February 27, 2013 at 01:26 #

I COMPLETELY AGREE! She was most #1!

  38. Carol February 26, 2013 at 19:38 #

    Where are you FC?!
    Charlize
    Halle
    Jennifer
    Jane

  39. Zerina February 26, 2013 at 19:37 #

    Stacy Keibler in Naeem Khan

She outshone George Clooney and that’s not an easy thing to manage. 😀

  40. Ramsay February 26, 2013 at 19:36 #

It’s Charlize for me – but I would’ve liked to see Nicole Kidman at least considered for it

  41. vandacska February 26, 2013 at 19:36 #

I miss Zoe Saldana from this list… but Jennifer Lawrence all the way 🙂

  42. Anne February 26, 2013 at 19:35 #

The 2 glamorous ladies in Armani Prive stole the show for me. Tough decision, but Jessica stepped on the carpet first, and no one was able to overtake her for me.

    • matza February 26, 2013 at 20:32 #

      +1

  43. Joy February 26, 2013 at 19:34 #

Stacy Keibler for me. She could give Heidi Klum lessons on how to look hot without baring it all.

    • Paulina February 26, 2013 at 19:42 #

      +1 !!!

    • dee February 26, 2013 at 21:14 #

      +2!!!!

  44. Agathe February 26, 2013 at 19:34 #

My top 10 best dressed list was:
    1- Stacey Keibler
    2- Naomi Watts
    3- Jessica Chastain
4- Salma Hayek (the best she’s ever looked IMO)
    5- Charlize Theron
    6- Nicole Kidman
    7- Kelly Osbourne
    8- Jennifer Lawrence
    9- Jane Fonda
    10- Naomie Harris

    Best Maternity: Georgina Chapman
Best Hair and Make-up: Jessica Chastain
Worst disappointment: Kerry Washington and Fan Bingbing
Worst dressed: Kristen Stewart and Amanda Seyfried (washed out festival)

    • Quinn February 27, 2013 at 00:58 #

My list of worst disappointment: Kerry Washington, Fan Bingbing and Anne Hathaway!

      • Agathe February 27, 2013 at 16:21 #

Oh right, Anne Hattaway let us down a bit… But I don’t hate her look as much as Fan Bingbing’s! Kerry Washington is not bat but just OK (maybe my hopes were too high).
In general I’m super disappointed by Marchesa, although Georgina Chapman herself looked lovely.

  45. MaddyEliza February 26, 2013 at 19:33 #

SO disappointed that Zoe Saldana is not included. 🙁 How sad. Naomi Watts, Kerry Washington, and Zoe were my best dressed (in no particular order). I hope she gets a best dressed nod from you FC. She deserves it!

  46. Andreea February 26, 2013 at 19:28 #

    No Amy Adams?

    • kennedy February 26, 2013 at 20:38 #

Yeah she was my best dressed!

    • kk February 26, 2013 at 21:06 #

      mine too

    • EmmaWoodhouse February 26, 2013 at 23:42 #

OMG I didn’t mention her! She was my best dressed too, or tied with Octavia and Stacy!!!! I miss her here!!!

      • EmmaWoodhouse February 26, 2013 at 23:42 #

        Also missing Zoe’s Alexis Mabille…

    • Quinn February 27, 2013 at 00:53 #

she was my best dressed 🙁

    • naya February 27, 2013 at 11:18 #

by far THE best dressed of the night!!!

      • Andreea February 27, 2013 at 18:21 #

She was one of my favourite as well, that’s why when i saw the poll i immediately thought of voting for Amy.Sadly, she wasn’t on this list.

  47. mm February 26, 2013 at 19:23 #

Charlize for me. But Overall the oscars redcarpet was not very exciting. I feel there were better looks at the after parties.

  48. EmmaWoodhouse February 26, 2013 at 19:20 #

Actually a really good event! I thought it was blah until I saw this lineup. I chose Octavia Spencer, Fan Bing Bing, Stacy Keibler, Jessica Chastain, Kerry Washington, and Jennifer Lawrence. Looking forward to the Oscar parties polls, with FC on them!!! 🙂

  49. gabis February 26, 2013 at 19:17 #

Sandra Bullock has no competition to me <3

  50. Vanessa February 26, 2013 at 19:17 #

I liked Kristen Stewart’s dress as much as Jessica C’s, sad she couldn’t really show it how it should. But it was better than Fan Bingbing in Marchesa.
