Heidi Klum flaunted her supermodel superpower during yesterday’s 2013 People’s Choice Awards held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in California.
The ‘Project Runway’ host presented on the night wearing slinky black and metallic embellished gown from the Julien Macdonald Spring 2013 collection matched with Lorraine Schwartz jewels.
Heidi look every bit as good as the runway model, as the strategically placed cutouts and a pin-baring thigh-high slit showed off her statuesque frame.
The asymmetrical neckline added visual interest. Luckily, she tied her hair back into a slick ponytail, so the shape of the dress wasn’t covered up.
Christian Louboutin’s vampy ‘Crosspiga’ stilettos finished the look. It’s not the first time these pointy-toe heels have made an appearance. Rihanna and Bond girl Olga Kurylenko are also fans of this shoe.
So do you think Heidi’s look was in or out?

Meh
+1 I wish she could just tone it down. Everything feels so … MUCH.
So glad she isn’t wearing something tacky, revealing or cheap looking. She looks decent.
Agreed.
+2
Not a yes from me. I wish she wouldn’t always wear these slinky, cut-out and slit-filled gowns. A demure look would be nice.
She is in great need of a style makeover……..the dress looks great on the model maybe because of the ratio between her waist and hips, on Heidi it is meh…………the Heidi disaster continues………
+1. Sadly, for me, she never gets it right.
Wow everyone here is tough on Heidi. I think she looks great.
No, this dress doesn’t look good on her in any of the other pics either. Not very flattering and I think she makes it look dated.
I have to agree that she needs a style makeover.
Well this is a slight recovery from her Versace disasters. She looks pretty good but not great.
+1
Same, loving the dress, her heels and hair i don’t think she could have improved on anything
A no.
Definitely an improvement, but she has a long way to go.
It is indeed an improvement from her lastest appearances but it’s far from being a great look. I don’t like the dress I think it stands very close to tackyland. But on this occasion what bothers me the most is the sleek ponytail. A voluminous one would’ve softened this sharp look. And I’m tired of her never-ever-changing makeup.
I agree with the other commenters she desperately needs a style makeover.
I think she pulls off this edgier sexy look really well without crossing into a tacky territory.
“So do you think Heidi’s look was in or out?”
IN!
She looks great
In. I love it! It’s rare that she looks sophisticated.
not a fan. Or maybe I’m still not over her debacle at the EMAs. It’s going to take a serious knockout look from her before I let go (lol). Until then I’m blacklisting her
My thoughts too.
lol me too
Definitely out imo.
This dress needs someone with a tiny waist and wider hips, like the model on the left. It doesn’t look right on Heidi’s shape.
Yes, this is exactly the problem. Heidi is relatively straight up-and-down – not a lot of definition in the waist or the hips. Yet she constantly chooses dresses designed to flatter an hourglass figure, which make her look boxy, and wind up giving the effect of desperate and tacky because they are unflattering.
I don’t believe she is a model, coz seriously imo, she always destroy the dress i believe would be great, say it, on Angelina Jolie.
Maybe because her aura or something, she always look tacky. I’m agree with one of the comment, she needs to toned down a bit. So, I could erased my opinion in my head about her forever.
