Alice Eve looks like butter wouldn’t melt, but she often makes some fashion-forward red carpet choices.
Earlier today the British actress was on hand to assist with the announcement of the 2013 British Academy Film Awards nominations, which was held at BAFTA HQ in London.
She’s gave us our first look at the Fendi Spring 2013 collection sporting an orange-and-black printed dress with a high neckline and solid blush back which she accented with a black grosgrain belt.
What I love most about her look are her Fendi sandals.
I have been mildly obsessed with the Fendi Spring 2013 shoe collection since they took to the runway back in September, as I loved the mix of colour-blocking and textures with the pyramid studs which decorated the heel.
This shoe collection was a first-time collaboration between London-based shoe designer Nicholas Kirkwood and Karl Lagerfeld.

I rarely like Fendi looks, but I really like this one. I’m glad she added the belt and the shoes look great.
+1
The dress is ‘meh’, but the shoes .. oh the shoes are to die for ! I’m a big fan of this collaboration. P.S. actually this is the second look of this collection off the red carpet since Anna Dello Russo (who else?) wore the finale dress at an event.
Can I ask what the reference “butter wouldn’t melt” means? Not the saying, but what you’re referring to. I always thought she was like an English sweetheart or something, like Reese Witherspoon.
She look as if she would never do anything daring.
I don’t know if you still read old comments, haha I was going through the archives–but I just wanted to let you know that the phrase “butter wouldn’t melt” actually means that she’s a mean girl with a sweet face, as in, she looks sweet, but she’s actually so cold that her tongue wouldn’t melt butter. I was surprised as I thought you were bashing her, I was like whaaa? Haha
yes, butter wouldn’t melt is a nice turn of phrase
I love the dress on her, it’s great when belted! Actually it’s the shoes that are giving me pause. They make her feet look bent…and also, they don’t really go with the dress.
Gorgeous from head to toe.

The belt ruins the dress.
Adorable from h2t.
Just ok for me.
The print is really cool, I like that she belted it and those shoes have got me looking at my credit card.
Looking back I’ve e enjoyed all her looks that have been featured on this site.
Love this whole look!
