Freida Pinto was a busy girl this weekend in Dubai as, in addition to serving as a member of the jury for the 2012 Dubai International Film Festival, she also attended the Dubai Cares and Oxfam ‘One Night Lives’ Charity Gala at the Armani Hotel on Friday evening.
The actress graced the red carpet in an attention-grabbing vintage Valentino gown.
Undoubtedly knowing how jaw-dropping the gorgeous dress is on its own, she made the perfect choice of keeping her hair pulled up and her accessories very simple.
Only a Roger Vivier ‘Boite de Nuit’ clutch stands against the stunner dress that not only is the perfect shade of red, but also screams “Whoever wears me will instantly look like a classic Hollywood starlet”.
That’s probably why Valentino released a very similar version of the vintage gown as part of their 2013 resort collection, proving that if it isn’t broke, there’s no need to fix it.

Not liking how the shape is making her appear wider than she is.
A gorgeous color, and I love the flounce at the hem! Freida is glowing. My only nitpick is that the seam down the front of the skirt is rather jarring and she should have added a simple gold belt.
Gorgeous colour, this could’ve been striking had she also delivered a stunning enviable silhouette, it’s not there unfortunately. Not loving the cheesy updo either.

there is something about Frieda… there is no doubt that she’s a gorgeous beautiful woman,,, but i always feel that she sucks the “va va voom” out of any outfit! i think she still hasn’t figured out her own personal style… she needs to listen to herself and not to her stylist
I’m not sure I agree with you simply because she has said that she has the final say in her outfits always and mostly chooses them herself as well. She has given us many stunning moments and I like what she is wearing. It looks good on her . There’s an old school charm ant it. Maybe u don’t like her too much.
I absolutely adore this and I am so in love with the clutch. She looks amazing.
The gown is so shapeless on her, it’s very unflattering and such a shame. It had such potential. The seam down the middle also bothers me, but that’s to no fault of Freida’s. That’s just the construction of the dress, but it looks strange.
