Earlier this month I did a post on all the street-style stars wearing the first pieces from the Mary Katrantzou Spring 2013 collection; now we have our first look on the red carpet.
Kerry Washington looked radiant when she arrived at the premiere for ‘The Details’ held at ArcLight Cinemas in Hollywood, California, last night wearing a dress from the collection.
Her fitted halterneck stamp-print ‘Rodizio’ dress featuring two slash pockets has been shortened from the runway.
At 5ft 11in I would’ve kept the original length, but I understand why a 5ft 4in Kerry went for the chop.
Even with that delightful colourful print, Kerry added a punch to her look via her studded Christian Louboutin clutch and ‘Pigalle’ pumps.
Kerry’s hair was lacquered on both sides but left loose and wavy at the back. Cat eyes, a dark pink lip colour and diamond-encrusted hooped earrings completed her look.

nice look! is it a wrong perception or Kerry has been getting slimmer and slimmer those last years?
She is to the point where her head looks bigger than the rest of your body.
Anyway her dress is amazing!
+1 this should be the last time she wears something that covers/cuts off the neck. Her head look like a floating oval planet. I can’t even pay attention to anything else.

She looked better in Gucci, so chic and glamorous. This dress is something between an apron and a cartoon poster. Kerry is a beautiful woman but now she looks like a dwarf without neck. Sorry

Love the whimsical print but not how the dress is fitted…I would have preferred a more fitted silhouette. Also the hair doesn’t really work for me. She made the right decision to shorten the dress.

Beautiful dress! It looked like a piece of mail art, with all these vintage stamps. Her shoes could’ve been more exciting. The pumps looked like a mismatch to the dress.
