Lena Dunham was one of my least favourites on the red carpet at the 2012 Emmy Awards on Sunday.
The actress, who was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series, wore a navy Prada lace short-sleeved and backless gown with a sky-blue lining.
I don’t find the dress to be particularly exciting or flattering, but I’m not surprised as I’m rarely enamoured by any of Prada’s red-carpet gowns.
Studded diamond earrings and kohl-rimmed eyes completed her less-than-impressive look.

Yeah, what’s with this?? Best comedy award and she’s not even smiling. It doesn’t surprise me though, she probably HATES her stylist!!!

Agreed. I actually found the hair and makeup an improvement for her. Even the dress is not bad, compared to some of her other looks. If only it was more fitted….

I think her hair and makeup are lovely. The colour and lace of the dress are great too, but I think she needs a cut to emphasize her waist a little more.
I completely agree. I think her make-up is stunning. The top half of the dress works well on her, I think. The bottom half is another story. Even so, I think she looks beautiful.

You are so right, FC! Miss Prada doesnt know how to make red carpet looks! wonder why she even tries! She should know that bringing down the length of a frock will not always make a gown!!
