Jena Malone showed off a darker ‘do on the red carpet for the 2012 Emmy Awards held in LA on Sunday evening.
The ‘Hatfields and McCoys’ star wore a bordeux J. Mendel Resort 2013 gown.
The actress, who is currently filming next year’s ‘Hunger Games’ sequel, showcased her signature red-carpet edge with asymmetrical neckline detailing and fierce Casadei ankle-cuff sandals.
A silver box clutch and a neat bun completed her look.

How to Achieve the Classic Blowout

I love this, it’s simply gorgeous!
I was waiting for this one, she is my BDOTN(ight). The oxblood color, the unusual flowing yet flattering silhouette, those SHOES (*fanning myself here*). Interestingly, in some of the pictures, I’m not sure Jena is owning the fabulosity of her look.
I was waiting for it too! Aside from the fact that she was not the top one but among my favorites of the night, I agree with everything else you said. And those cuff sandals, OMG, that is probably what dreams are made of.
Love the color, but not the high slit and I wish that the bodice was not so high-waisted. Also I do not like her hair.
Edgy yet sophisticated. BDOTW for me!
I too think that the bodice is a little bit too high-waisted, but other than that she was one of my faves of the night, together with Claire Danes, as I did not particularly enjoy the overload of satin-y/siren-y/princess-y dresses
It´s def.too high-waisted for her, slightly awkward, this is the only thing that prevents me from loving this look.
Gorgeous! The colour is fanstastic!
Absolutely!
Very interesting look. Bu the, now very popular, akward leg pose to show the split bothers me so much!
Such a beautiful dress!
I think you meant bordeaux *
and she looks fabulous!
Love it. I’ve been lusting after this dress since I saw the collection and am glad Jena made it justice.
She looks nice but I am not wowed.
