Emma Watson attended the ‘The Perks Of Being A Wallflower’ premiere in LA last night.
For the event, Emma wore a pale yellow Giorgio Armani gown, featuring long layers and scattered beading.
I’m not sure if Emma took the name of her film to heart when she chose this dress, but it is incredibly understated for the red carpet. It’s an interesting ensemble that gathers momentum rather than stuns immediately.
The neckline shows off her beautiful shoulders and the tiered skirt is pretty, even if it does slightly engulf her. I love the simple cross straps at the back too.
A nude eye, strong brow and tight French roll complete her look.

It’s not bad, but I’m not wowed by it either. Just OK.
+1 !
I’m not sure what to say about this look as a whole…I do love the back
I love the dress, and her in it, but I really am not nuts about this dark lip, eye, and brow look. I think the combination (with pale skin) is both hard to carry off, and it tends to make women look somewhat generic. I do not think it suits her best.
This is nice but I am not excited over it.
I love everything about this but the pale color. Gorgeous lines, adore the contrast between the flowy dress and sleek hair. Just wish it didn’t read as washed out. Gonna blame my screen and consider this a BDOTW contender.
It totally washes her out. I don’t like the fitting either. I would have appreciated this more had she sported the braided hairstyle she had at the TIFF première.
I think a nude-colored skinny belt around her waist would have made a huge difference.
exactly what I was thinking!
I can’t explain how much I love it. I think I’ve never seen her looking so chic and ethereal. Love it.
Ugh … tell me about it. I am blown away. Moved. Really.
I think someone much taller with a lot more stature was needed to pull this off, because it reminds me of an elaborate bed sheet on Emma. The colour is incredibly drab. Also the top of the dress needed to be fitter bitter because she had a wardrobe malfunction, and also liek that she could have had better posture.
Also, it is very 90′s to me.
I don’t like this. At all.
looks gorgeous! LOVE IT SO MUCH!!
I don’t like this. So far, Giorgio Armani has been boring me. I guess he has been getting tired and old or something. He needs to get inspired… fast!
I don’t think I’ve ever liked her in anything more. She usually looks like she’s wearing whatever a stylist says is fashionable. This is the first time she looks as if she’s wearing something organic to her own persoonal style. It’s as if she’s finally found herself. I think she looks stunning, womanly, and at ease.
She looks gorgeous just not a fan of the dull dress.
Ugh. The fit is so horrible I’m appaled someone really let her go out wearing this dress. And it just washes her out so much.
She doesn’t look good IMO. Actually no ofense but she looks like she came from a vampire movie.
She looks gorgeous!
+1
Considering she chose the dress off a rack less than 3 hours before the premiere, I can excuse the supposed ill fit. I think she looks wonderful and it’s the perfect look for an LA premiere in the summertime. I LOVE it. She’s been killing it and My favorite thing about her is that she looks so effortless.
This look is subtly jaw dropping. Love it.
I completely dislike her hair and makeup. Bulging lips and sleek hair is just the most obvious, easiest and safer way to match a nude dress. And it’s not even flattering to her figure. A messy bun and smokey eyes would’ve been a much better choice. Some statement jewelry wouldn’t hurt too you know…
Oh wow, I’m stunned. She looks gorgeous.
I like the back of the dress, the front? Not so sure ! but the real deal is her makeup: she looks divine
She looks beautiful but I kind of wish she had gone with softer hair, to echo the ethereal nature of the dress. I also wish that the dress was a deeper color–perhaps green? Or blue? The nude is too pale. Still a good look, though.
Terrible. Just no.
