Sporting a cute, but not so summery dress, Jordin Sparks’ gorgeous smile lit up the red carpet at the 2012 Teen Choice Awards on Sunday in Universal City, California.
The singer wore a Chagoury Couture Fall 2012 black halter mini dress which features a lavender floral sequined bodice, a deep plunging neckline, and voluminous taffeta balloon skirt.
Her purple suede Prada pumps complemented her dress perfectly.
Allowing her dress to do all the talking, she opted for a simple ponytail, kohl-rimmed eyes and Simon G jewels completed her look.

It’s summer so this is a no from me.
This dress is so 16 year old going to her first high school prom. Cheap would be an understatement. And on top of that it does nothing for her slimmer figure.

I’m not sure that the line of the skirt is the best choice for her figure, but it’s still a very pretty look.
I don’t mind the darker palette since the halter top and pink floral embellishments give me a hint of a summer garden. It doesn’t scream AUTUMN to me. And I think it’s very event-appropriate.
This falls flat, particularly with all those wonderful colors everyone else was wearing.
