On Friday, Blake Lively made a guest appearance on ‘Late Night with Jimmy Fallon’.
The actress, who had an incredible run on the red carpet last week, was there to promote her new movie, ‘Savages’.
Her Lanvin Spring 2012 look featured an off-white silk crepe blouse with black slit pants with white piping, which she styled with black strappy sandals.
I love the look sans the Lanvin crystal eagle necklace. For me it is too big and dominated the look.
Beyonce Knowles’ smaller version with a longer chain was a lot less overwhelming.

the necklace looks like some cheap “ghetto” necklace, the rest of the look however is gorgeous.
The pants look a little off. Somehow made her look shorter and curvy. Love the shirt and the statement necklace though.
i was about to comment on the same thing. never ever did i thought i’d be be labeling blake as short and curvy! the pants is just bad!
and i don’t like the necklace. i prefer simple styling for this kindda look.
The problem is that this look just isn’t good for her body type: the pants are absolutely appalling.

Yes, you are right. If there’s one thing I’ve learned from you, FC, it’s that less really is more. (Aside, of course, from the fact that shoes come in all sorts of colours and styles and don’t have to be black pumps all the time!)
I think without the necklace this look would be fantastic.
The bulky necklace, the unflattering pants, and I´d throw the brownish (??) sandals into a mix – black would be a more obvious choice.

I actually “get” the necklace – her look is otherwise minimalistic and the stylist (or her?) pobably wanted to add something bold. I actually think this whole look works. my only problem is that she’s begun to remind Scarlett Johansson lately and this look reminds me of ScarJo too. is she consciously trying to copycat?
