Naomi Watts attended the 2012 Glamour Women of the Year Awards in London last night alongside Donatella Versace.
She stepped out of her comfort zone wearing a Versace Fall 2012 uber-sexy gown.
The chic nude column gown with an intricate black lace overlay had a low-cut back and wide straps covered in black Swarovski crystals.
An extended ponytail, studded earrings and a fresh-faced glow allowed the dress to do all the talking.
I never saw Naomi as a Versace girl, but she’s rocking it.

I didn’t saw Naomi as a Versace girl either and I would’ve loved this look but the bust area is just not working for me.
That a gorgeous dress and she looks great in it. But the only thing that messes up this look is her hair. Its really sloppy, like she there wasn’t any effort on her part.
Good on her for taking the risk. Love the detail on the dress and her shoes are gorge but I am not loving the side boob or the extended pony. After going through the getty images I don’t dislike the look as much as I did to begin with but still not crazy about it

Nothing works for me with this look. The hair is just sloppy, I’d have preferred some more dramatic make-up, and the dress is ill-fitting.

Um…this is terribly dull and unflattering on her. She’s not a Versace girl in my eyes.
I love Naomi and she can do bare and sexy, but this dress is letting her down. Not cut well for her endowments and it is dull and unflattering. Adventure is fine, and I can imagine her in some other versace looks, but this one is a dog.
With that side boob and her ribs showing at the side? No, thank you.
Yeah, I feel the SAME way. It’s too revealing from the sides and just plain ugly from the front. Her face looks pretty but her hair looks limp. Overall a sad look.

Don´t know if it´s just the angle, but she looks VERY boxy to me. Donatella´s dress is amazing, though (but her lips scare me so much).
I agree with the readers. Naomi is just not a Versace girl. The dress makes her look boxy from the front and the side boobage and exposed ribs look terrible.
Far too much makeup on her like a painted doll she looked much more fresh faced at the NCPCC pop art ball recently hair is a little odd but over all its just okay
Can’t help but admire Donatella’s dress- beautifully made and so elegantly presented. Don’t like Naomi’s look at all- fit is terrible and cut is very unflattering.
I’ve noticed when Watts wore her pink Marchesa gown at Cannes that she has a slightly boxy shape and unfortunately, this dress is not made for that type of build. It’s definitely for hourglasses. Also, though the print looks nice up close, from further away it resembles wallpaper. I’ve simply never seen Watts look so terrible.

don’t really love the commando-apron vibe i’m getting from this look. Also her hair…NO. the rat tail isn’t working either! Donatella looks great in her dress tho.
I wanted to like this dress on Naomi, but I can’t. I also dislike that piece of hair that falls over the one strap of the dress.
