Beyonce Knowles In Ralph & Russo – Revel Resort’s Memorial Day Weekend Performance

Beyonce Knowles dazzled on stage at Atlantic City’s Revel Resort’s Memorial Day weekend launch last night during her first performance in nine months.

The new mum looked better than ever showcasing the post-baby curves in a selection of custom-made outfits by London-based couture house Ralph & Russo.

They created four amazing looks plus two sensational headpieces for Beyonce, made with over 500,000 Swarovski Elements.

Beyonce didn’t opt for matching pumps; instead she wore hot-pink Stuart Weitzman Mary Janes.

Designers Tamara Ralph and Michael Russo of Ralph & Russo share their thoughts on this exclusive collaboration:

“Beyonce is a true representation of the Ralph & Russo woman who is strong, powerful and independent. She is an inspirational performer and creative genius and collaborating with her is always such a fantastic experience. We had so much fun designing these outfits made with Swarovski Elements, all of which were created to provide her with a truly unforgettable stage presence.”

I like the outfit…sure the shoes are comfortable, but hmmmmm. Still good job by them. (re: the other looks) I’m just so over her unitard phase. Put some pants on already -___-

I understand it as a performance costume. Her body looks great, I don’t get the color pink but considering how much Beyonce dances, the mary janes are probably more comfortable.

I find the pink a clever, beautiful touch, but… Mary Janes with that power-fringed-glamazon outfit?

    • Jones19 May 28, 2012 at 20:36 #

+1. The Mary Janes puzzle me as well, pink sandals would have been fierce.

It could be because she does quite a bit of dancing. I can not imagine wearing a peep-toe, 5″, platform with the kind of high energy performance she puts on. Most professional modern dancers wear shoes similar to those mary janes. And Beyonce is the consummate professional. Although I think I read somewhere that she was born with heels on, lol….

Not Mary janes. It’s a sewn in elastic strap. The shoe is a pump and they will come off during a performance.

From the pictures I’ve seen, all the outfits Ralph & Russo created for these performances are H.O.T.

Sassy! Jealous of those who are attending.

    • justme May 28, 2012 at 14:52 #

      Same 🙁

Love the fringe but the design is too revealing and kind of ice-skaterish. I never “get” performance ensembles.

    • Yeliz May 28, 2012 at 14:37 #

+1 – It might have been better if it was one piece.

  15. Awdah May 28, 2012 at 14:17 #

WOW! She looks perfect. Love her shoe choice ♥

  16. Mujid May 28, 2012 at 14:03 #

I don’t mind the look, but I really hate the shoes.
