Hilary Swank joined a host of stars on the red carpet at the 2012 Met Gala, held on Monday night in New York City.
Looking amazing, as always, the actress wore a Michael Kors gown.
Her custom scarlett-chiffon tie-neck cascade gown was styled with a Michael Kors gold python barrel clutch and Michael Kors gold snake chain ankle-wrap stiletto sandals.
I love everything about this look; Hilary never lets me down and this stunner very much tells the story why. She’s never afraid of going big and bold.
Gold Fred Leighton jewels and gorgeous side-swept curls completed the look.

She’s stunning as always. But I prefer Jessica Alba’s Michael Kors dress.
I also prefer Alba’s dress but both of them feel kinda dated to me.
Jessica was one of my absolute favorites of the night! Hilary looks good too–great color–but I don’t love the constrictive halter on her.

There is too much dress & hair & jewellery in the neck region for me. It feels choking. Nevertheless, it flatters her figure and accessories add just enough shine to her outfit.

Ehat I love about this look is how different it is form Hilary. She normally wears something sparkly & streamlined, with simple unfussy hair & with an athletic feel. J.Lo would be proud.
