Elizabeth Banks In Marc Jacobs – ‘The Hunger Games’ Paris Premiere

There was some major fist pumping going on when I saw Elizabeth Banks hit the red carpet in Paris for ‘The Hunger Games’ premiere last night.

Despite surmising that the Marc Jacobs Fall 2012 collection would be hard to wear on the red carpet, I did pick out look 40 as the most red carpet ready piece.

Well score, because Elizabeth agreed by donning this pink sequined dress on the red carpet.

She thankfully wore her hair up in a chic chignon to show off that beautiful neckline with four oversized floral accents.

Her fitted dress, which gives her a tiny waist, was styled with Kara Ackerman Designs earrings, a small black clutch, and black Walter Steiger patent platform heels.

This and Leven Rambin tie as Best for me. You are right. Leven and Elizabeth both smoked out Jennifer on this tour. I was expecting more from her.

Uh huh, have to say NO WAY on this one!

Those shoes are perfect for this dress and the colour tone too. Don’t need a brighter colour shoe to wash away or subtract the attention of the dress.

The way she is working that dress and red carpet is amazing. So FIERCE holding her clutch and posing like that. WOWZA!

I think there needs to be BDOTHGT separate from BDOTW

I SO love how she is not afraid of color. The orange, yellow and now this beautiful red/purple/pink color. I love how her styling is always ladylike and lovely!

since seeing this dress on the runway i couldn’t wait to see it on the red carpet although i was hoping someone like diane kruger would wear it so that it would be styled well. It is such a shame that elizabeth banks chose such boring shoes; they really bring down the look for me.

I am absolutely flabbergasted–in a great way! Everything about this look (except the pumps, which I don’t fancy) is FANTASTIC! The dress is stunning. Elizabeth is really on a roll…she is definitely a contender for BDOTW! (I know, I keep saying that about a lot of people but it has been a great week!)

I don’t like those heels but sweet Jesus, Elizabeth is mesmerizing from the ankles up. That dress is beautiful.

It is a fabulous dress and she wears it really well. But, I really don’t like her hair. I understand getting it up off her shoulders to show off the dress, but it is way too butch and severe for me–would be so much better softer.
