Hulu Upfront: The Handmaid’s Tale

The 2018 Hulu Upfront was held on Wednesday (May 2) in New York City, with Samira Wiley and Elisabeth Moss from ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ in attendance.

Samira Wiley: The one-shoulder cape of her Lavish Alice Spring 2018 dress brought a swish of drama to the teal mini, with the actress matching shoes to frock for a consistent effect.

Elisabeth Moss: With its collar neckline and retro spirit, this Delpozo Pre-Fall 2018 design was right in keeping with some of Elisabeth’s favoured style points. However, I loved seeing her have some additional fun with the colour-block effect and the sassy highlighter-yellow pumps to jazz up the look.

‘The Star’ LA Premiere

There were many stylish ladies out at the LA premiere of the animated film ‘The Star’ on Sunday (November 12).

Meagan Good: The actress opted for stunning simplicity in this white Zeena Zaki gown. The snowy colour played into the festive theme, matching the white carpet. Some of the details did get lost, but the dress’s immaculate cut did not. Le Vian diamond earrings added some sparkle to the ensemble.

Gina Rodriguez: The ‘Jane the Virgin’ actress often embraces colour and feminine shapes. This Missoni fringe dress spoke to both points. The multicoloured banding with embroidery had a striking finish thanks to the play of textures and shapes. The coordinating fringed sleeves were a joyful touch, as were the Casadei pumps.

Sarah Silverman In Lavish Alice & Galia Lahav Couture – HFPA & InStyle Celebration of TIFF & ‘Battle Of The Sexes’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Sarah Silverman did double duty at the Toronto International Film Festival. First, the performer attended the HFPA & InStyle Celebration of TIFF on Saturday (September 9). Later, she joined Emma Stone and Andrea Riseborough at the ‘Battle Of The Sexes’ premiere on Sunday (September 10).

HFPA & InStyle Celebration of TIFF: Sarah further proved white dresses are a key player at TIFF 2017 with a Lavish Alice Fall 2017 number. She enhanced the glamorous vibe of the ankle-length frock with gold Sarah Flint ‘Ivy’ heels, golden jewellery and waves cascading over one ear.

‘Battle Of The Sexes’ Premiere: For evening, she kept the glamour but increased the party factor with Galia Lahav Couture. While her co-stars went for shorter silhouettes, Sarah championed a maxi gown festooned with lace appliqués. I appreciate the ensemble’s spirit and the way her topknot perfectly echoed the rosette detail on her neck.

Fifth Harmony In Lavish Alice – 2017 Teen Choice Awards

I was super excited to see Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane and Lauren Jauregui of Fifth Harmony on the red carpet for the 2017 Teen Choice Awards on Sunday (August 13) in LA.

It’s not often I find myself loving a girl bands red carpet look, as I often feel they’re competing rather than complementing each other.

No such issues applied here as Fifth Harmony finally served up a cohesive look all wearing Lavish Alice.

Being cohesive doesn’t need to mean they’re all wearing the same look, or the same colour, for me it means some form of commonality. In this case, the pastel hues and clean lines.

Looking sexy and chic without trying too hard – like their 2017 iHeartRadio Music Awards looks – this might just be their best ever red carpet look.

Ally wore her Lavish Alice caped blazer and short set with Steve Madden Gonzo shoes, Swarovski and Vida Fede jewels plus a hair piece from Jen Atkin x Chloe and Isabel.

Normani added a touch of sparkle to her Lavish Alice corseted paneled jumpsuit with Thom Solo shoes and jewels from Effy and Graziela Gems.

Dinah caped frock was styled with Aldo Keshaa ankle booties and Vida Fede jewels.

Lauren kept her crop top and Lavish Alice wrap front trousers clean and simple with Giuseppe Zanotti sandals, a Jimmy Choo clutch, and jewels from Effy and Vita Fede.
