Fifth Harmony In Lavish Alice – 2017 Teen Choice Awards

I was super excited to see Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane and Lauren Jauregui of Fifth Harmony on the red carpet for the 2017 Teen Choice Awards on Sunday (August 13) in LA.

It’s not often I find myself loving a girl bands red carpet look, as I often feel they’re competing rather than complementing each other.

No such issues applied here as Fifth Harmony finally served up a cohesive look all wearing Lavish Alice.

Being cohesive doesn’t need to mean they’re all wearing the same look, or the same colour, for me it means some form of commonality. In this case, the pastel hues and clean lines.

Looking sexy and chic without trying too hard – like their 2017 iHeartRadio Music Awards looks – this might just be their best ever red carpet look.

Ally wore her Lavish Alice caped blazer and short set with Steve Madden Gonzo shoes, Swarovski and Vida Fede jewels plus a hair piece from Jen Atkin x Chloe and Isabel.

Normani added a touch of sparkle to her Lavish Alice corseted paneled jumpsuit with Thom Solo shoes and jewels from Effy and Graziela Gems.

Dinah caped frock was styled with Aldo Keshaa ankle booties and Vida Fede jewels.

Lauren kept her crop top and Lavish Alice wrap front trousers clean and simple with Giuseppe Zanotti sandals, a Jimmy Choo clutch, and jewels from Effy and Vita Fede.

    Tacky, tacky…. tacky and Tacky.

Fit issues, lack of style and a horrendous make up. Together they doesn’t hold a one bad look.

Omo Normani is the only one who looks really good. But to their credit, the problems their looks have don’t jumps at you like they would if they were photographed separately. It kind of works in the group picture.

I hold Fifth Dimension to a lower standard. As long as they don’t roll in looking like they did for the 2017 iHeartRadio Music Awards, I’ll say they look good despite the fact that 3 of the four outfits are too tight and the one that is not is too long.

    All gorgeous looks.

Normani from the group. The rest are projecting a tacky vibe.

Yes, it’s cohesive, but they could do a little better than this plain pastels-and-whites color palette. Also, Dinah Jane’s shoes are ugly.

Bufff, fit issues everywhere! Dresses are too tight, trousers are too long, too much cleavage… If I have to choose one, the second one is the best, but.. not feeling it completely.

I appreciate the idea, but details such as the harsh makeup and excessive cleavage stop me from liking these outfits.
