End Of The Week Red Carpet Roundup

Before we roll up the red carpet for another week, here is a roundup of the ladies who stood in the spotlight.

Kathryn Hahn: This Rachel Comey look may hail from the Spring 2019 collection, but I love the combination of spring and fall here.

Marin Hinkle: The actress joined Rachel Brosnahan for ‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’ New York premiere, sparkling in a Thai Nguyen Atelier Resort 2019 silver metallic dress with gold pumps.

Amanda Steele: The actress was at the Lancome x Vogue event wearing a white and black jewel fringed dress from the Each Other Spring 2019 collection. Having seen the dress on the runway, I much prefer Amanda’s presentation of this look styled with a belt, silver pumps and a bright yellow Edie Parker bag.

Regina Hall In Diane von Furstenberg - 'Support The Girls' LA Premiere

Regina Hall attended the premiere of Magnolia Pictures’ ‘Support The Girls’ on Wednesday (August 22) in Hollywood, California.

Bringing the 1970s disco feel back to the red carpet wearing a Diane von Furstenberg Fall 2017 striped, velvet jumpsuit, the actress’ look managed to not feel at all dated.

She could’ve really played up the retro-inspired spirit, but opted for simple and minimal styling, keeping her jumpsuit firmly in focus.

Comic-Con 2018 Red Carpet Roundup

Comic-Con 2018 was awash with talent and inspiring red carpet looks. Here is a look at those who caught my eye.

Zoe Kravitz: The actress, who participated in the ‘Fantastic Beasts’ panel, kept things cool – as you would expect – wearing a cropped t-shirt and Prada Fall 2018 trousers with a punchy print.

Ruth Negga: The thing I love most about Ruth style is the confidence oozing from every pore. This Ulla Johnson look styled with By Far sandals, was yet another effortless example.

Jamie Chung: The one thing you can rely upon with ‘The Gifted’ star is colour, and perhaps some vibrant tropical blooms. This Alice + Olivia ‘Amos’ blouse and NBD ‘Derrick’ skirt has me dreaming of exotic locations.

Camila Cabello In Diane von Furstenberg – L’Oreal Paris HAVANA Makeup Collection Launch

Camila Cabello worked closely with L’Oréal Paris to create a 14-piece collection which is not only influenced by her song, but is also a tribute to the natural beauty she grew up surrounded by in her beloved home city of Havana.

Officially launched on July 15, the singer hosted a party in Pacific Palisades, California on Tuesday (July 24) to celebrate.

And she did so in quite some style wearing a tangy look which featured Diane von Furstenberg trousers defined by stripes of bold, happy colours which certainly struck the right mood for the event.

As fun as they are oversized, the trousers allow for numerous styling opportunities. She also performed at the event, so I will give the somewhat random ruffled collar a pass.

Elisabeth Rohm In Dolce & Gabbana & Diane von Furstenberg – ‘Sicario: Day Of The Soldado’ & ‘Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation’ LA Premieres

Elisabeth Rohm has had a busy summer celebrating not one, but two summer blockbusters in ‘Sicario: Day Of The Soldado’ and ‘Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation’.

‘Sicario: Day Of The Soldado’ LA Premiere: Peonies in bloom continue to be the emblem of Dolce & Gabbana, as does this timeless silhouette. This is one of those looks which is perfect for any occasion, however, I wish the hairstyle wasn’t so aging.

‘Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation’ LA Premiere: There was a more youthful flare about Elisabeth’s second look from Diane von Furstenberg’s Pre-Fall 2018 collection, despite its vintage style infused with ’70s nostalgia. Simply styled with Zvelle ‘Zaha’ sandals, this was my favourite look of the two.

Hulu’s ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ FYC

The ladies of Hulu’s ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ attended the For Your Consideration event on Thursday (June 7) in Beverly Hills, California, serving up a range of summery styles.

Alexis Bledel: This was easily my favourite of the group. A soft knit texture and a fitted silhouette makes this striped dress a contemporary but versatile statement from Diane von Furstenberg’s Spring 2018 collection. Factor in those yellow pumps and jade-green earrings and I’m coveting this look from head-to-toe.

Madeline Brewer: Red carpet suiting has presented itself in many forms of late. Madeline threw caution to the wind by opting for this harlequin Teresa Helbig Spring 2017 sequin suit with Brian Atwood’s ‘Valerie’ pumps. If you’re having a case of déjà vu, that’s because Angela Bassett wore the full length version of this look. I love Madeline’s version as it possesses a playful, youthful spirit.

Samira Wiley: The actress wore a beautiful Georges Chakra cobalt blue sleeveless jumpsuit with a ruffle overlay detail from the Spring 2017 collection. All that was missing from this look was a yellow or orange clutch to liven things up. Maxior diamond earrings completed her look.
