Phoebe Waller-Bridge In Mother of Pearl & Giambattista Valli Haute Couture – ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Phoebe Waller-Bridge has been busy promoting ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ at the Cannes Film Festival. Firstly, she attended the photocall on Tuesday (May 15). Then she stepped out this evening for the premiere, alongside Emilia Clarke, Thandie Newton and Elizabeth Debicki.

Photocall: I was enchanted when I saw this Mother of Pearl dress as the emerald green colour is divine on her. The voluminous sleeves with embellishment only add to the drama. Completed with the Roger Vivier shoes, it was a strong look that she could have worn to a premiere.

Premiere: After setting the bar high, she continued her fashion reign in Giambattista Valli Haute Couture. The whimsical piece with three-dimensional appliques demonstrates how sheer fabric can be incorporated into a look for a cohesive statement. The bow-accented Gianvito Rossi shoes and Messika jewels rounded out the ethereal style.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge In Adam Lippes – ‘SOLO: A Star Wars Story’ LA Premiere

Phoebe Waller-Bridge shimmered at the LA premiere of ‘SOLO: A Star Wars Story’ on Thursday evening (May 10), joining Alexandra Daddario and Sofia Vergara.

Her 2018 Met Gala look didn’t go down well, so I’m curious to see whether the sparkling minimalism of this Adam Lippes Fall 2018 gown will earn higher parks.

The lack of structure might be bothersome to some as it’s neither slinky nor dramatically flared, but there’s an enchanting elegance with its soft lines and flowing silhouette.

The lookbook version presents a sleek effect with the skirt just touching the ground. Hers is pooling and I would normally call it out as being too long but I think she gets away with it.

Gianvito Rossi shoes and Bina Goenka jewels up the wow factor.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge In Christopher Kane – 2018 Met Gala

Phoebe Waller-Bridge was in attendance at the 2018 Met Gala at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday (May 7).

The ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ actress was outfitted in a blushing Christopher Kane Fall 2018 look. The style captured the designer’s mastery of prints and texture and will no doubt be an interesting talking point as the ‘More Joy’ illustration references ‘The Joy of Sex,’ a 1972 illustrated manual of positions the designer was inspired by for the collection.

With the feathery trim it was a whimsical look and an interesting subversion on the night’s theme.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge In Hellessy – ‘Killing Eve’ Cannes International Series Festival Screening

Phoebe Waller-Bridge brought a new twist to pretty-in-pink at the ‘Killing Eve’ screening held during the 1st Cannes International Series Festival in France on Sunday (April 8).

As the menswear trend continues to evolve on the red carpet, this Hellessy Spring 2018 ensemble offered up an intriguing variation that married traditional tailoring with modern femininity.

I like how the split, cape sleeves of the plunging double-breasted jacket provide a willowy grace to the suit that was echoed in the wide-leg trousers.

Should you have peeked below the pants hem, you’d have seen a pair of Sophia Webster sandals that no doubt provided a bright flirtation to cap off the look.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge In Vionnet – 2018 Oscars

Phoebe Waller-Bridge attended the 2018 Oscars in Los Angeles on Sunday (March 4).

The actress wore a Vionnet Fall 2018 gown that is equals parts classic and fun.

I can’t help but smile when I see this gown. It’s got all the classic elements of a sophisticated red carpet gown with just a smidge of 80s prom flair, and the humor that only polka dots can afford.

It’s subtle enough to be graceful, but different enough to take note.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge In Sies Marjan – ‘Goodbye Christopher Robin’ World Premiere

Making an enchanting entrance in soft shades, Phoebe Waller-Bridge attended the ‘Goodbye Christopher Robin’ world premiere on Wednesday (September 20) in London.

The actress donned a Sies Marjan Fall 2017 ensemble with an asymmetrical beige bodice and a white and peach skirt. I am happy that she posed in such a way to give the dress some movement because this was a look that I wanted to see in motion.

V-cut black heels and a coordinating clutch grounded the lightweight layering of the frock, but the dark colours came off as a bit stark. A lighter shade or a sandal would have been my first choice.
