Marie Claire’s 5th Annual ‘Fresh Faces’ Red Carpet Roundup

Marie Claire’s 5th Annual ‘Fresh Faces’ event brought out a bevy of beauties on Friday (April 27) in Los Angeles, California. They joined Storm ReidAngela Sarafyan and Yara Shahidi.

Skai Jackson: The Disney actress looked sweet in Michael Kors Collection Spring 2018. This is not the first look I would have expected from the designer with his classic, minimalist aesthetic, but think it suits her to a tee. The white and pink tie dye print and oversized T-shirt dress design are fun and feminine. The accessories also add fashion-forward appeal.

Madelaine Petsch: Opting for coordinates, the ‘Riverdale’ actress wore a head-turning Prada Spring 2018 look. Some might crave a cleaner finish, but everything is working from the stripes to the leopard spots to the graphic print in the Prada printed blouse. It presents a sophisticated rock ‘n roll sentiment.

Katherine Langford: The ‘Marie Claire’ cover girl embraced a retro romantic mood in a Markarian custom Fall 2018 dress. While the belted silhouette might be classic, the glittery pale pink fabric with red accents brought it into modern times.

Odeya Rush In Rebecca Vallance – Build Series: ‘Dear Dictator’

Odeya Rush visited Build Series to discuss ‘Dear Dictator’ on Wednesday (March 7) in New York City.

The young actress kept it simple in a Rebecca Vallance jumpsuit, but I was loving every minute of it.

The sweetheart neckline, the nipped-in waist, the cropped pant—it all fit her impeccably, providing a modern, effortless take on femininity, especially when styled with the pearl- and lace-accented Nicholas Kirkwood pumps.

The dark ruby red lip contributed a dose of sultry, moody allure, as we might expect from Odeya to dramatize the ensemble.

2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party Red Carpet Roundup

The crush of beauties continued in full force on the red carpet of the 2018 Vanity Fair Oscar Party last night (March 4) in Beverly Hills, California.

Odeya Rush: The young starlet was a vision in this neon-bright chartreuse Vivienne Westwood Couture gown. The sculptural, one-shoulder ruffle detail is nothing we haven’t seen before, but the bold colour made the look feel dynamic. I do think she could have offered up a more youthful beauty look—and less bronzer—to accompany the sophisticated sass of the gown.

Dree Hemingway: There was a delicate daintiness to this Valentino Pre-Fall 2018 nude, embellished lace gown, which Dree echoed in her minimal hair and makeup. The yellow-tinged, ribbon belt made all the difference in breathing a bit of life into the neutral dress, with Repossi jewels to complete the look.

Odeya Rush In Christian Dior Couture – 2018 SAG Awards

Odeya Rush was also in attendance at the 2018 SAG Awards on Sunday (January 21) in LA.

The up-and-coming Israeli actress donned a Christian Dior Fall 2017 Couture frock.

Diaphanous tulle and exploded herringbone lines made for an intriguing balance of sweetness and directional structure in this dress, which I thought she carried off quite well.

Lorraine Schwartz jewels and long waves completed the look suitable of a young ingénue.

So well-defined was the waist that I didn’t even miss the belt.

Coach & Rodarte Spring 2017 Collaboration Dinner Party

Last night, Rodarte’s Kate and Laura Mulleavy and Coach’s Stuart Vevers celebrated the forthcoming Coach & Rodarte collection, launching worldwide on April 12th.

Consisting of ready-to-wear and leather goods that merge the established tradition of Coach with the younger, avant-garde spirit of Rodarte, the capsule collection delivers the height of both styles and will be available from April 12th at Coach.com and April 14th at Coach stores and specialty retailers worldwide.

The three designers celebrated their collaboration at a private dinner at Hollywood’s iconic Musso & Frank Grill, where there were no shortage of starlets in attendance with each showing off the collection’s cool-girl looks.

Bella Heathcote: The idea of an embellished, leather dress took on new meaning with this softer, feminine shape that dazzled in a striking array of sequined floral. The sophistication of tough-chic leather continued with her burgundy heels and chain-link mini clutch. It was the blue eye shadow that was more of an acquired taste.

Yara Shahidi: Yara completely sold this look to me, tempering the girly nature of the embellished, bow-accented dress with the sporty, varsity jacket emblazoned with flowers. I would have never paired such a sizable handbag or the bronze platform sandals, but she makes it all work together.

Chloe Moretz: Never ceasing to impress, Chloe made a striking statement with her top-to-toe rock-star swagger. The leather moto jacket featured a similar floral sequin motif as Yara’s bag and Bella’s dress. However, the simplicity of the black jumpsuit underneath really allowed the jacket to shine, with her punk-pretty makeup elevating the strong attitude of the ensemble even more.

2015 InStyle Awards Red Carpet Roundup

2015 InStyle Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Many more beauties (and one token lad) joined the mix at the 2015 InStyle Awards, held at the Getty Center in Los Angeles, California on Monday (October 26).

Miranda Kerr: Unfortunately, the flirty spirit of the supermodel’s Ulyana Sergeenko mermaid-inspired design was compromised by the unusual bodice and faux cutouts with white seam lines that turned the top half into something of an ice-skating costume. Jimmy Choo metallic sandals and a fun topknot rounded out the look.

Michelle Williams
: Channeling her inner rocker girl, Michelle donned an edgy Louis Vuitton ensemble that brought leather, laces studs, and embellishment to the party. Rather than opt for a black sandal, she kept the tough-chic theme going strong with her shoe-boots, messy hair and kohl-rimmed eye makeup. It may have been a bit much, but it all certainly translated more effectively than Selena Gomez’s Louis Vuitton effort.

Alessandra Ambrosio
: While Alessandra’s skin-baring side cutouts were real instead of illusion-lined, this Alexandre Vauthier Couture white plunge gown was just more of the same from the supermodel who never met a cutout she didn’t like. A Lee Savage clutch completed her typically sexy look.
