SAG-AFTRA Foundation

The SAG-AFTRA Foundation events on Thursday (November 8) Friday (November 9) in New York City brought out a myriad of chic looks.

Rachel Weisz: The new mum looked effortless in Altuzarra Resort 2019 at the SAG-AFTRA Foundation Conversations: ‘The Favourite’ event with the strappy sandals echoing the dress’s textured fabric.

Felicity Jones: The British beauty went retro in Sies Marjan Spring 2019 for the ‘On The Basis Of Sex’ conversation event. This is her second look from this collection and I’m curious how this one will be received because the pink number is very different from her previous power suit.

PORTER’s Incredible Women Gala 2018

PORTER's Incredible Women Gala 2018

There were a host of stars who joined Gabrielle Union and Alice Eve to celebrate PORTER’s 3rd annual Incredible Women Gala on Tuesday (October 9) in Los Angeles, California.

Charlize Theron: I really wanted to get excited about this Giambattista Valli Fall 2018 dress, but the top half is throwing me off.  I do love the girlie essence the tiered skirt brings to the look, but that’s about it.

Alison Brie: I know the Brock Collection isn’t loved by all, but I adore the label’s feminine approach and the raw-edges of their asymmetrical ruffles. My only comment on this particular look, is that the bodice seems a tad tight.

Tiffany Haddish: The Emmy-winning actress caught my eye in this Georges Chakra metallic embossed paisley suit. I don’t always get her style choices, but this is easily my favourite look from her this year. Perhaps tailoring is the way to go. Brian Atwood gold ‘Valerie’ pumps, Anabela Chan sustainable lab-grown diamond ring and Gismondi 1754 earrings completed her look.

Alison Brie In Miu Miu – Green Carpet Fashion Awards Italia 2018

Alison Brie In Miu Miu - Green Carpet Fashion Awards Italia 2018

Alison Brie graced the Green Carpet Fashion Awards Italia 2018 on Sunday (September 23) in Milan, Italy where she presented The Wellness Award to Elle Macpherson. She also joined Julianne Moore and Emily Ratajkowski.

After wearing Miu Miu to the 2018 Emmy Awards, she stepped out in the designer again, wearing a retro-tinged style from the Resort 2019 collection.

Like the former appearance, this ensemble featured side cutouts. I didn’t find myself having déjà vu because I was charmed by the ivory and grass green combination and the prim embellishment.

The changes from the runway version worked in her favor because they helped show a different side of her while playing into the green theme.

It’s a shame the wrinkles bring it down.

2018 Emmy Awards Red Carpet Roundup

2018 Emmys

There were many more stars in the 2018 Emmy Awards constellation on Monday (September 17) in LA.

Madelaine Petsch: The starlet complemented her cascade of auburn waves with a Prada gown that furtively cloaked a shiny embroidered skirt under cloudy tulle layers.

Tatiana Maslany: This Christian Siriano design was inspired by the Spring 2019 collection, with the highlighter-yellow front train delivering all the sass you could possibly want. Christian Louboutin heels and EF Collection jewels completed the neon-bright entrance.

Harpers BAZAAR, The And The CDG Celebrate Excellence In Television Costume Design

Harpers BAZAAR And The CDG Celebrate Excellence In Television Costume Design

Harper’s BAZAAR, The and the CDG celebrated Excellence in Television Costume Design with the Emmy Nominated Costume Designers with a private dinner on Saturday (August 18) in Los Angeles, California, with five beautiful ladies in attendance.

Angela Sarafyan: This Giorgio Armani red fitted dress is as gorgeous as you would expect from the ‘Westworld’ actress. The bow is an especially intriguing feature. But I wasn’t a fan of her shoe choice for this dress.

Alison Brie: Noon By Noor’s refined aesthetic fuses simplicity with sensuality in this Pre-Fall 2018 mesh dress. The actress has been very experimental of late, but this sees her take her foot off the gas a little.

Mandy Moore: Was Mandy’s Proenza Schouler belted dress, Danse Lente ‘Lilou’ tote and suede Jimmy Choo ‘Lucy’ pumps a little too one note for you? I was tempted to say yes, but I love the sleekness of the dress and the uniqueness of the bag.

Alison Brie In Isa Arfen – Netflix’s ‘Glow’ Celebrates Its 10 Emmy Nominations

Alison Brie In Isa Arfen - Netflix's 'Glow' Celebrates Its 10 Emmy Nominations

Netflix’s hosted a roller-skating event for ‘Glow’ to celebrate its 10 Emmy nominations on Sunday (July 29) in Los Angeles, California.

I’m sure you’re thinking, “now this Isa Arfen Fall 2018 dress makes perfect sense for Alison Brie.”

Theme did require something more playful and cutesy, even if the undertones of this look feels a bit edgy.

I would’ve loved for Alison to have toughen up this silhouette with studded leather boots, as I’m not a fan of the mismatch navy element of her platforms.

Alison Brie In Vivienne Westwood Couture – 2018 ESPYS

Alison Brie dazzled on the red carpet at the 2018 ESPYS on Wednesday (July 18) in Los Angeles, California.

It’s been mentioned that when it comes to Alison’s style; that you’re unable to define it.

To me that’s a great thing, to keep us guessing, and to see her continually evolve.

On this occasion it was a return to glamour in Vivienne Westwood Couture, which is a world away from what we expect from the corset-loving brand.

This pale rose nude sequin column halter gown was infinitely more sensual with it plunging neckline and side slits.

I’m glad accessories were kept to a bare minimum with just Sophia Webster ‘Rosalind Gem’ sandals, as anything else would’ve been overly fussy.
