Anya Taylor-Joy Wore Dior To The ‘Lucky’ LA Premiere
Following a brief trip to London to begin the press tour for Apple TV+’s Lucky, Anya Taylor-Joy returned to Los Angeles for the series’ world premiere, held at the Directors Guild of America on Monday.

There are very few occasions when I don’t enjoy an Anya Taylor-Joy x Dior moment, but this is one I’ll probably file in the “liked it, didn’t love it” category.
It’s not because she’s abandoned her usual storytelling through fashion. It comes down to two things. First, I feel like I’ve seen her in this creamy champagne colour several times before, with her Le Grand Dîner du Louvre look immediately springing to mind.
Secondly, I’m not convinced this Dior Resort 2027 cream silk embroidered dress fits her as well as it could. Whether it’s the proportions or simply the way the fabric drapes, it feels a touch too generous on her frame.
On the runway, the dress had a sleeker presence, and I couldn’t help feeling it benefited from that extra height.
Even so, the floral detailing and fluid silk kept the look elegant, and Tiffany & Co. jewels provided the perfect finishing touch. It’s a lovely dress, just not one of Anya’s Dior looks that will stay with me.
