Camila Mendes is continuing her love affair with vintage while promoting Masters of the Universe, stepping out for the New York screening in another archival gem.

Considering she shares stylist Molly Dickson with Keke Palmer, who has built a reputation for uncovering standout vintage fashion moments, this direction should come as no surprise.

While Keke often gravitates towards bold prints and vibrant colour, Camila took a different route in this Donna Karan gown. The rich chocolate-brown hue worked beautifully against her complexion.

The dress itself is a reminder of why Donna Karan became synonymous with effortless glamour. The plunging halter neckline, fluid draping and gold hardware detail gave the look a sensual ease. There is a confidence to this kind of simplicity that feels effortless.

This slinky silhouette is also proving to be a recurring theme throughout this press tour, and it continues to serve her well. As much as I enjoy a summer press tour filled with bright colours and seasonal dressing, I am far too busy admiring this chocolate-brown delight.
