Ruth Negga Wore Dior Haute Couture To The Cannes Film Festival Closing Ceremony
Ruth Negga joined her fellow jury member Demi Moore on the red carpet for the Cannes Film Festival closing ceremony.

While the Loewe look didn’t entirely hold up for me, Ruth still delivered a strong and consistent style run across the 12 days of Cannes. What I appreciated most was how she stayed true to her natural style instincts while still giving us range.
She closed the festival in a custom Dior Haute Couture strapless peplum dress embroidered with delicate floral detailing, and it felt like an elegant final note to her Cannes wardrobe. The sculpted peplum gave the silhouette shape, while the floral embroidery cascading from the bodice and seemingly dripping off the peplum softened the structure and gave the look a beautifully intricate finish.

Some might say this edges into bridal territory, but the styling – cornrows, bold red lip, and choker – introduced enough individuality to keep the look firmly within Ruth’s world rather than slipping into something overly precious.
Chopard jewels completed her look.
