Jennifer Lopez attended The Roast of Kevin Hart during Netflix Is A Joke Fest held at the Kia Forum on Saturday in Los Angeles, California.

The singer wore a red Michael Costello look which gave the impression of a swimsuit paired with a draped sarong-style skirt, immediately bringing to mind the body-conscious silhouettes from Michael Kors’ Spring 2023 collection, where similar wrap skirts and bodysuit pairings became a major red carpet trend as seen on Mélanie Laurent and Blake Lively.

But if we’re being completely honest, this look is pure J.Lo. More specifically, J.Lo in Miami.

Between the bright red body-hugging silhouette, the pink Chanel bag, the unfortunate sheer mules, and her signature aviator sunglasses, this feels like a look pulled straight from her personal off-duty style playbook rather than something styled purely for the occasion.

The dress itself is doing exactly what it was designed to do, highlighting her famous silhouette. Whether that feels fresh in 2026 is another conversation entirely.
