Chloƫ Sevigny attended the New Museum 2026 Spring Gala, held at Cipriani South Street this week, wearing a look that leans fully into the season.
This may be an unpopular opinion, but I love this ChloƩ Spring 2026 dress on Chloƫ. These floral prints and artfully draped silhouettes have always felt aligned with her, but never in an overly delicate way.
I expected the styling to take an offbeat turn, but the version I had in mind was different. I pictured her in downtown New Yorkāpaparazzi shot, mid-summer, walking a dog, cigarette in handāstyled with something minimal like The Row thong sandals. That kind of undone, effortless framing feels more in tune with her usual point of view.
The reality here, with white tights and off-white shoes, interrupts that vision and shifts the mood entirely.
As much as I appreciate ChloĆ«ās instinct to take risks, this is one styling choice I canāt get behind.
