Lily Collins Wore Balenciaga & Saint Laurent Promoting ‘Emily In Paris’

With the sixth season of Emily in Paris set to begin filming in May, Lily Collins attended both the PaleyFest event and SAG-AFTRA Foundation Conversations in LA to discuss what’s next for the popular Netflix series.

Am I the only one who recognised those Balenciaga Duchesse pumps before the dress? They are such a distinctive silhouette, with their deep V-cut vamp. Seeing the actress in this burgundy Balenciaga Fall 2026 velvet dress, I have to wonder: are we headed for another velvet spring/summer season? We’ve already seen velvet suiting this weekend, and this dress only adds to that direction. That said, it’s hard to deny how effective this draped design is, with the cut-out giving the look a sharper, less heavy finish.

SAG-AFTRA Foundation Conversations Presents Emily In Paris

No one does an ultra-chic LBD like Anthony Vaccarello, which is why the likes of Hailey Bieber, Anja Rubik and Laura Harrier have Saint Laurent minis as their go-tos. The simplicity and classic nature of the silhouette work in Lily’s favour, as this is a Q&A, not a premiere. The look is elevated further by the nylons paired with Saint Laurent Kitty sandals, but I can’t help feeling a red lip would have completed it, giving a perfect nod to that Parisian aesthetic.
