Monica Barbaro Wore Roberto Cavalli To The Olivier Awards 2026

Monica Barbaro joined Cate Blanchett on the red carpet for The Olivier Awards 2026, held at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Sunday.

The Crime 101 actress arrived wearing a Roberto Cavalli Pre-Fall 2026 gown, which might be my least favourite look from her since her Dior moment at the 2025 Oscars.

My issue is glaring, and it comes down to how poorly the dress appears to be constructed.

Starting with the layer across the bust, which is visibly apparent, it would have been less distracting had it been longer and sat under the bust. Then we get to the most problematic element: the angular handkerchief detail, which shows multiple pulls.

Had this dress been entirely black, many of the seaming issues may have been less obvious, but the contrast panel leaves nowhere to hide. Every flaw is brought into focus.

This was a very disappointing miss from Roberto Cavalli.
