The Valentino Beauty x Colman Domingo House Party took place in London recently, with Lily Allen joining the host for the occasion.
Purple Reign
The only other brand ambassador receiving custom looks with this level of consistency is Alicia Vikander for Louis Vuitton. But when you have someone as stylish and charismatic as Colman Domingo, I suspect Alessandro Michele designs for his muse instinctively.
With Valentino Beauty’s signature purple clearly on Michele’s mind, Colman wore a patterned satin shirt in a rich violet tone. If you’re anything like me, you were zooming in on the shawl-collar jacket, hoping it was a deep eggplant hue. We got classic black instead, which works, but an eggplant jacket would have elevated this even further. The look was styled with Valentino Garavani boots and Boucheron jewels.
Beehive Brought Back
Lily Allen’s beehive is back, and thankfully that was the only vintage-leaning element of her look. Her Valentino moment at The Fashion Awards is still etched in my memory for less flattering reasons.
This time, she kept things far more modern in an orange top and jeans from the Spring 2026 Fireflies collection. The bold hue did the heavy lifting, while the relaxed denim kept it balanced and typically Lily. Styled with a Valentino Garavani DeVain bag and coordinating shoes, the overall effect was a much-needed course correction.
