This time, Priya Ahluwalia created a custom blue fringed design inspired by the designer’s Spring 2026 collection.

In the first instance, it is beautiful to see two Nigerian women supporting each other. But more importantly, the fashion delivered. Ahluwalia’s work often draws from her Nigerian and Indian heritage, weaving diasporic references into contemporary silhouettes. Seeing that perspective represented on one of Britain’s biggest red carpets gives the moment cultural weight beyond aesthetics.

This electric blue fringe dress felt entirely fitting for the queen that Wunmi is. The sculptural draping across the bodice created architectural, wave-like panels that framed her bump, while the tiers of fringe added fluid movement.

She continues to make maternity red carpet style feel elevated and directional, never predictable.

The look was complemented by blue eyeshadow, diamond jewels, and Stuart Weitzman silver block heels.

Stylist: Shameelah Hicks.
