Sarah Michelle Gellar made a guest appearance on Live with Kelly & Mark this week promoting Netflix’s Star Search revival, where she serves as a judge alongside Chrissy Teigen and Jelly Roll.
I am sure you had the same question I did when I saw her making her way to the studio. Why?
It is the morning. A daytime talk show in the middle of winter.
Even if we set the temperature aside, I was still surprised to see the actress wearing the L’Agence Aislin bra top, and it is very much a bra top, paired with the label’s Makena lace skirt, layered over matching burgundy underwear and an oversized Another Tomorrow blazer that reads more after dark than 9am.
The contrast between her and the visibly perplexed security guard behind her is unintentionally hilarious.
I hate to be a prude, but for a morning appearance, this feels misplaced. It is a shame, because this rich burgundy hue looks stunning on her. The colour works. The context does not.
Should she have saved this for a late-night show, or is it a no all-round?
