Olandria Carthen Wore Saint Laurent To The YSL Beauty Presents LOVE 24/7

New York Fashion Week kicks off today, and Olandria Carthen was already in the city yesterday for YSL Beauty Presents LOVE 24/7.

Olandria is a beautiful woman with a stunning figure, but I need her two stylists, Matthew and Reginald Reisman, to come forward and explain their persistence in putting the former Love Island star in dresses where she appears to be, quite literally in this case, bursting out of them.

Much like at the Fifteen Percent Pledge Fundraising Gala, this Saint Laurent dress fits everywhere except the bust.

I have seen some people online saying, “This is her look,” and I have no problem with that. If body conscious silhouettes are her signature, lean into them. But her “look” should not appear this uncomfortable.

I loved her red carpet appearances during Haute Couture Fashion Week, which showcased far more creativity, and she blew me away at the Golden Globes. However, this is the second look in a row where the fit across the bust has distracted from everything else.

You may remember that Zoë Kravitz was the first to wear this dress back in 2022 for The Batman London premiere, where the scalloped detailing echoed the film’s motif and the fit did not appear as restrictive. Here, those details look strained.
