Mariah Carey Wore Roberto Cavalli Performing at the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony
Mariah Carey delivered a show-stopping performance of Nothing Is Impossible at the Opening Ceremony of the Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games, held at San Siro Stadium in Milan this evening. She followed it with the Italian classic Nel blu, dipinto di blu (Volare), a smart and crowd-pleasing nod to the host country.

An occasion of this scale demanded full spectacle, and Fausto Puglisi delivered with a custom Roberto Cavalli bustier gown that leaned unapologetically into diva territory. The fitted silhouette hugged the body before flaring into a dramatic mermaid train, executed in satin and inspired by the house’s Archive Ray of Gold motif in Swarovski embroidery.

A long, natural-toned ostrich feather stole gave the look that old-Hollywood magic, amplifying the sense that this was a grand performance.

Jewellery from LEVUMA brought the final layer of excess, with a platinum necklace, earrings and bracelet set with more than 306 carats of emerald-cut diamonds. It was unapologetic, glamorous and entirely on-brand for Mariah.
