Rihanna Steps Out In Dior Menswear In Paris
One of the first things I noticed about Dior when Jonathan Anderson took over the creative direction was how quickly he moved away from the menswear labelling, removing “Men” from the collections.

Marc Bohan launched Christian Dior Monsieur. During the Patrick Lavoix era, it became Dior Monsieur. Hedi Slimane redefined the line as Dior Homme, and Kim Jones later changed the name to Dior Men.
Seeing Anya Taylor-Joy, Jennifer Lawrence and Greta Lee wearing fresh-off-the-runway Dior Fall 2026 looks in the Dior Spring 2026 Haute Couture front row, and now Rihanna in this Dior Fall 2026 “mens” coat, feels like a continuation of that shift, showing how Jonathan’s designs are not necessarily exclusive to one gender. It mirrors the approach A$AP Rocky is currently taking at Chanel.
Even without knowing this piece comes from the menswear line, the bold floral hues and cape-like silhouette sit comfortably within Rihanna’s style vocabulary.
I am glad this appeared as a street-style moment, as it allowed the look to read with more ease, while her gown remained the stronger, more elegant choice for the front row.
The look was styled with the Dior Cigale bag and the Dior Crunchy bag.
