Rihanna Goes Full Animal Print in Alaïa in New York
Last night in New York, Rihanna stepped out again, and subtlety was clearly not on the agenda.

She wore an Alaïa Resort 2026 zebra print coat paired with Alaïa tiger print pumps, and it immediately made me think of Big Ang from Mob Wives or Pat Butcher if you’re familiar with Eastenders.
The look was loud, unapologetic, slightly chaotic, and entirely committed. There is a lot of everything happening here, and Rihanna knows it.
Animal print on animal print is always a gamble, but this feels very on brand for her current New York streak. Statement outerwear is trending lately, but this clash of zebra and tiger feels deliberate.
That said, the look does reach its breaking point with the stole. This is where things tip from bold into overcooked. Without it, the outfit already says plenty. With it, the styling feels a bit heavy handed, and unnecessary, even for Rihanna. Sometimes knowing when to stop is just as important as knowing how far to go.
Still, there is something admirable about her refusal to dilute the idea. She commits fully, and that confidence is what keeps moments like this interesting. You may not want to recreate it, but you are absolutely going to talk about it.
