Cynthia Erivo Wore Schiaparelli On The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon
Like her co-star Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where she discussed her role in Wicked: For Good, her upcoming book Simply More, the story behind that instantly iconic meme, and even blind-ranked her favourite Wicked songs. It was one of those interviews where her humour, candour, and natural charisma came through effortlessly — but fashion-wise, she took things to an entirely different level.

You genuinely never know where Cynthia will go next sartorially, which is precisely why we love her. She gives black the drama, texture, and intention it’s so often denied. My frustration with black looks is usually the lack of detail, but this Schiaparelli Spring 2026 suit demolishes that argument.

Some might say the glossy shoulder spheres make her look like she’s preparing for a hot stone massage, but honestly, I’m obsessed. This is Cynthia doing what she does best. Plain black doesn’t exist in her vocabulary; there’s always personality, always an edge, always a twist.
And what is it with Cynthia, the Tonight Show, and hats? Last year she wore a leather look topped with a hat, and this year she returned with a shiny bowler hat. Keeping it was the only choice. I think the suit would have lost some of its surreal magic without it.
Someone recently said that Schiaparelli’s ready-to-wear doesn’t hit as strongly as the couture on the back of Emily Blunt’s look from the same collection. Cynthia’s here to challenge that. This double-breasted suit has presence, precision, and storytelling — everything she gravitates toward.

Bird on a Rock by Tiffany earrings and rings, plus her beloved Christian Louboutin Hot Chick pumps (her trusted plus-one this entire press run), completed her look.

I’m so sad this tour is coming to an end, but excited to see the final film this weekend.
