Shailene Woodley Wore Versace To The Clooney Foundation For Justice’s The Albies
Shailene Woodley attended The Clooney Foundation for Justice’s The Albies at The Natural History Museum in London on Friday, becoming the first celebrity to wear a Versace Spring 2026 look since Dario Vitale took over the creative reins.

When the collection debuted, it sparked strong reactions — mine included. Initially, I was thrown by the Western theme, which felt so unexpected for Versace. But on reflection, I think many of us were too focused on that and not enough on the fact that Vitale’s approach is less of a reinvention and more of a reawakening of Gianni-era codes — daring, erotic, and unapologetically glamorous, but with a tougher, moodier edge. It’s not a full reset like what Pierpaolo Piccioli did at Balenciaga, but it’s an intriguing first chapter.

And in this new narrative sits Shailene, wearing a gold bugle-beaded gown with an ornate green-embellished bustier. My only wish? That it had the halter neckline from the runway which I feel would have been a lot more flattering.
Still, this was a confident moment for Shailene, but I’m intrigued to see more of Vitale’s Versace on the red carpet.
