Anya Taylor-Joy Wore Dior To The ‘Sacrifice’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere
Anya Taylor-Joy has always had that rare ability to make a red carpet look feel like a chapter in her own story rather than just an outfit.

At the Sacrifice premiere during the Toronto Film Festival on Saturday, she reminded me why she’s one of my favourite Dior ambassadors.
This custom Jonathan Anderson design felt like the moment Dior finally clicked for me, because honestly, I was slowly losing faith. The pale icy blue satin was sleek and serene, but it was the sculptural skirt—woven from satin ribbons in a basket-like formation—that turned the look into something you couldn’t just glance at, you had to stop and take in. It had that rare quality of being futuristic but still emotionally resonant, which is no easy feat.
The Tiffany & Co. jewels mirrored the frosty tones, her white Christian Louboutin Iriza pumps kept it grounded.
I loved every element from head-to-toe. This was the Jonathan Anderson I’d been waiting to see—and trust Anya Taylor-Joy to be he one to deliver it, even though this would have been a better option for a stage like Venice.
