Suki Waterhouse and Tilda Swinton Promote ‘Broken English’ at Venice Film Festival
Suki Waterhouse and Tilda Swinton promoted Broken English at the Venice Film Festival on Saturday, and unlike most stars at this event, they skipped the usual wardrobe change. Instead, both women took their photocall outfits straight into the premiere.
Maybe they were pressed for time, or maybe they just knew these looks could hold their own from day to night. After all, gold, silver, and Chanel whites don’t exactly have an expiry hour.

When The ’60s Calls, She Answers
Wearing a Rabanne crop top and mini skirt drenched in metallic shimmer, Suki Waterhouse leaned all the way into her favourite era—the ’60s. The silhouette may be modern, but the spirit was pure retro glamour. While I’m less convinced about the black tights or the return of those towering Valentino platforms, there’s no denying the outfit embodies her vintage-loving personality perfectly. Vhernier jewelry completed her look.

Chanel in the Sun
In contrast, Tilda Swinton gave us pure understated chic in Chanel Resort 2026. Her ivory silk canvas shirt and matching trousers were loose, airy, and made for the Venetian sun. Paired with sunglasses and a pair of black pumps (mercifully barely visible under those trousers), the whole look was effortlessly elegant—the kind of look that only Tilda can wear with such ease.
Together, they proved that sometimes the smartest red carpet move is also the simplest: when the outfit works, why change?
