Samara Weaving Wore Wiederhoeft To The ‘Eenie Meanie’ LA Premiere
Samara Weaving brought a daring twist to the red carpet at the Eenie Meanie LA premiere, held at the Aero Theatre in Santa Monica.
Clearly, we’ve entered the era of trompe-l’œil underwear in fashion. Alyson Stoner kicked things off last week in Diesel, and now Samara has carried the baton in Wiederhoeft.
The look centred on a silver mini skirt featuring printed thongs and suspenders. While the concept is playful and bold, it doesn’t quite harmonise with the corset top. The top, with its signature structured boning, strikes a beautiful balance between romance and avant-garde edge—very Wiederhoeft, very Samara. But from the waist down, the skirt feels like it belongs to a different outfit altogether, and it pulls focus away from what’s working so well above.
So while the overall impact is attention-grabbing, this one is strongest from the waist up, where the corset does all the heavy lifting in keeping the look sexy, edgy and chic.
