Zoe Saldana Wore The Row & Gia Studios Promoting ‘Elio’
I was about to type “she’s back,” but Zoe Saldana hasn’t really stopped. Since Emilia Perez premiered in May 2024, it’s been full throttle—press tours, awards season, a quick detour to Avatar: Fire and Ash promo at CinemaCon, and now she’s in New York promoting her upcoming animated film Elio.

The actress wore a Pre-Fall 2025 The Row Inawa top, designed to be perfectly-imperfect aesthetic with its dual-layer construction, loose drape, and raw edges. Do I get the vision? Yes. Do I love it on Zoe? I’m not fully convinced. It feels like the kind of look that lives in Ayo Edebiri’s wardrobe—it has her offbeat, intellectual-cool energy written all over it. On Zoe, it doesn’t quite hit the same note. What do you think?

Now this is more like it. The second look—a red cardigan tied asymmetrically over a red bodysuit, paired with a Gia Studios Spring 2025 red taffeta skirt—felt like the Zoe I know. Breezy, elegant, and still with a twist. The Patrizia Pepe Astral buckle off-white slingbacks pulled the whole look together by tying into the white lining of the skirt.
So it’s a 1.5 out of 2 from me today.
