‘Alpha’ Cannes Film Festival Red Carpet Roundup
While the Alpha premiere at the Cannes Film Festival didn’t deliver the kind of drama we are used to, it did serve up a selection of quietly confident looks with a slightly relaxed dress code.

New Minimalism
Vicky Krieps is clearly deep into her custom Bottega Veneta era. Her off-the-shoulder dress—paired with those signature Rana mules and Primavera necklace and ring from the fine jewelry collection—offered a lesson in purposeful simplicity. It’s interesting to note how she and Alba Rohrwacher appear to have switched style gears this season, with Vicky now embracing cleaner lines and more restrained detailing. A deliberate pivot, perhaps, but a very successful one.

Leather, lace-ups, and a little chiffon romance
Juliette Binoche clearly isn’t done with her biker chic phase. Her Dolce & Gabbana bustier and lace-up leather trousers delivered a tougher kind of glamour, and while the white chiffon cape softened things up, I can’t help but wish it was black. It would’ve felt more connected to the mood. Still, this is Juliette in her element: fearless and fabulously unconventional.

Drenched in shine, drenched in ease
Frida Aasen’s Victoria Beckham ensemble gave off a refreshingly laidback energy—proof that Cannes premieres don’t always need full gowns to make a point. The high-shine top had a wet-look finish that made the whole outfit pop without needing extra embellishment. It’s the kind of understated sparkle that works best when worn with confidence.
