Olivia Munn Wore Michael Kors Collection To The People Magazine App Launch

Olivia Munn was on hand to celebrate the launch of the new People Magazine App at The Hotel Chelsea in New York City, where that Michael Kors Collection sarong-style pareo skirt made a red carpet reappearance.

This is now the fourth sighting of this look, following outings by Mélanie Laurent (Murder Mystery 2 LA premiere), Ariana DeBose (I.S.S. Tribeca premiere), and Blake Lively (2024 CFDA Awards). Blake’s take, paired with a matching blazer, still reigns supreme in my opinion—tonal, intentional, and actually felt elevated.

Olivia opted for a white embroidered sequin matte-jersey t-shirt bodysuit instead of the original scoop-neck style, which did a lot to bring this out of beach-party territory and into New York rooftop soirée territory. It’s more subdued, I love how it feels seasonally appropriate, but the skirt itself still walks a fine line between resortwear and “grabbing the closest hotel towel after a swim.”
