Blake Lively Wore Tamara Ralph Couture To The ‘Another Simple Favor’ New York Premiere
Fresh off her honour at the TIME100 Gala last week, Blake Lively made a swift return to the red carpet for the New York premiere of Another Simple Favor.

And while her London screening look kept things refreshingly low-key, Blake clearly decided it was time to dial up the drama again — this time stepping out in full high-glam mode wearing a mint green Tamara Ralph (her go-to designer at present) strapless gown from the Spring 2025 Couture collection.
This had all the right spring premiere ingredients: a dreamy pastel hue, airy diaphanous fabrics, and that whimsical, fairy-tale floatiness that just screams “spring season.”
But am I head over heels for it? Honestly… no. As pretty as it is, it didn’t quite sweep me off my feet. The craftsmanship is lacking for me on the lattice bodice. And that chiffon skirt? A little too wispy in the wrong way — dare I say, it bordered on looking a bit cheap for an Couture look.
That said, I’m silently thanking the fashion gods that Blake had the good sense to skip the matching stocking gloves that haunted Gemma Chan’s look from the same collection. Small mercies.
Of course, no Blake Lively look would be complete without a sprinkling (or rather, a dousing) of Lorraine Schwartz jewels. I was all in for the earrings, but the rose-gold bracelets and rings? Not my favourite. Not only did they feel a touch excessive (quelle surprise), but they didn’t vibe well with the softness of the gown. It felt like two very different stories.
So while Blake absolutely delivered on the springtime fantasy, it just wasn’t one of those heart-stopping moments I know she’s capable of. Still, it’s always a joy seeing her back in her high-glam element.
