Angelina Jolie Wore McQueen To The 2025 Golden Globe Awards

Let’s be honest, our expectations for Angelina Jolie’s awards season were incredibly low—purely for self-preservation of our feelings. Her previous vintage looks since the Venice Film Festival have been underwhelming, to say the least, and that is the path we felt she would take tonight.

But Angelina (hopefully) appears to be reserving the drama for major events only, as she looked breathtaking in this McQueen Spring 2025 black tulle gown by Seán McGirr at the 2025 Golden Globe Awards this evening.

Draped with trailing silver metal and crystal chain banshee embroidery, the look was styled with matching banshee chain rings from the same collection with additional Messika jewels.

Honestly. I feel nothing but relief, and I’m sure you share the same sentiments.

If this turns out to be a one-and-done moment of effort, Angelina has already exceeded my expectations for awards season.

Adding to the moment was Zahara Jolie, her mother’s plus one, who looked stunning in a McQueen Pre-Fall 2024 ivory dress featuring contrasting branch embroidery that mirrored the tones of Angelina’s look.
