Celebrities in Valentino by Alessandro Michele for the BoF 500 Class Of 2024
The Business of Fashion BoF 500 Class of 2024 event during Paris Fashion Week was a striking display of fashion-forward designs, especially with Alessandro Michele dressing three celebrities in pieces from his Valentino Resort 2025 Avant Les Débuts collection.
Held at the Shangri-La Hotel Paris on Saturday, this event marked an early showcase of Michele’s vision ahead of his Spring 2025 show which was presented earlier today.
Colman Domingo, Hari Nef, and Jared Leto each brought unique interpretations of Michele’s signature eclecticism to the red carpet.

Valentino Suit with a Twist
Colman Domingo brought his characteristic charm to the event in a classic Valentino suit. The sharp satin shawl collar was beautifully complemented by accessories that elevated this otherwise timeless look. A velvet bow-tie adorned with a silver brooch added a touch of vintage sophistication, while the red crochet fingerless cycling gloves offered a striking contrast. Were the gloves a random addition or Michele’s signature flair for eccentricity? I’m leaning towards the latter. Colman has the sartorial confidence to pull off this bold styling choice, and it added a layer of intrigue that made the look memorable.

Vintage Romantic Valentino Moment
Hari Nef also embraced the fingerless cycling gloves, this time in black leather, paired with a nude Valentino dress that embodied romance and femininity. Inspired by ‘50s vintage couture, Alessandro Michele infused this look with elements like turbans, oversized earrings, and floral brooches accented with pearls. The result was look that felt slight overstyled with the gloves adding jarring edge, making the look feel slightly rebellious, which suits Hari’s style persona.

Leto’s Signature Style, But In Valentino
Before even opening this post, you likely guessed that Jared Leto would be one of the celebrities in Valentino. Much like Jennifer Connelly and Nicolas Ghesquière, Jared Leto follows Alessandro Michele wherever he goes. And with Michele’s Valentino designs closely echoing his previous work at Gucci, it’s no surprise that Jared’s style remains consistent. His V-logo wool coat, paired with black trousers, took on a rock-and-roll edge thanks to his colourful bandana, shirtless styling, and a resin black necklace. Jared continues to blur the lines between rebellious and avant-garde, making him the perfect muse for Michele’s vision.
