Fantasia Barrino Wore Benchellal To The 2024 BAFTAs
Fantasia Barrino is nominated in the Best Actress category for âThe Color Purpleâ at the 2024 BAFTAs this evening.
Even though Oprah Winfrey was not in attendance, Fantasia continues to steer clear of the colour purple as red was the colour of the night.
The actress looked like a beautiful ribbon wrapped up in this gorgeous bold, sculptural custom Benchellal design in a scene-stealing hue.
Red can have so many different meanings, but for the Moroccan designer, it will always signify elegance, beauty, and timelessness.
He said, âIâm always fascinated by the diversity and depth of the hue. With a single shade, different effects can be achieved depending on the choice of fabric.â
The effect here is outstanding; breath-taking even.
Some will say this look sees Fantasia back to her pre-awards season best, and I would strongly agree.
