Alice Pagani graced the red carpet for the ‘Poor Things’ Venice International Film Festival premiere on Friday (September 1).

I adore how this custom Antonio Marras silk blue gown, complete with lace detailing throughout, showcases the label’s signature femininity and uniqueness.

The colour is divine against her skin-tone, and I love how the lace gives the look a retro inspired touch.

If I didn’t know better, I would’ve said that this was a vintage piece, as it feels like it was made in another era for a star of the silver screen.

The trend that speaks to a deconstructed aesthetic have taken the red carpet by storm, but this piece leans away from that with the result being a classic, timeless, sensual gown that is Venice Film Festival-approved.
