Selena Gomez Wore Bottega Veneta For Her 31st Birthday Party

Selena Gomez appeared to have a night to remember celebrating her birthday this weekend.

In a series of Instagram snaps captioned, “31,” the singer spent the night blowing out the candles on her rose-accented cake, and dancing with her famous guests which included Christina Aguilera, Karol G and Paris Hilton.

And it appeared that red flowers were the theme of the event as Selena wore a red leather dress adorned with floral appliqués from the Bottega Veneta Spring 2023 collection with a pair of Magda Butrym rose-embellished sandals.

If you’re having a case of déjà vu, it’s because Yara Shahidi wore a similar ​dress to the 2023 Vanity Fair Oscar Party.

I say similar (even though it is the same dress) because Selena’s dress was modified to not only be shorter, but the nude layer was removed, as were the gloves.

I adore both looks as they suit both wearers and the occasions they selected them for.

Yara will always give us a high fashion moment on Oscar night, and Selena’s dress ensured all eyes were on the birthday girl.

I would love her to bring this same energy to the red carpet.
