Penelope Cruz Wore Tamara Ralph Couture To The Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre Inauguration

Penelope Cruz joined a host of celebrities on the red carpet for the inauguration of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) held at the Jio World Centre in Mumbai on Saturday (April 1).

Considering the fact that Penelope has worn nothing but Chanel for quite some time, I’m surprised that the Spanish actress is wearing her third non-Chanel look in a row in 2023 (Dolce & Gabbana for the Goya Awards and Alexandre Vauthier Haute Couture for the Lancôme pop up store opening).

Could the contract have expired on 31 December 2022?  It appears that way for now.

On this occasion she wore a look from Tamara Ralph who is steadily building her namesake label as a go-to for celebrities in 2023, following Lily James, Halle Berry and Kate Hudson’s outings during awards season.

If you’re anything like me, this pink strapless gown imbued with a hint of sex appeal via the slit, while draped with a feather accented cape is what your Penelope Cruz red carpet dreams were made of.

I will never begrudge a celebrity for taking a contract as they are very lucrative, but I for one would be glad to see more of this from Penelope going forward.

Chanel was never the right fit for her so I’m glad she’s seen the light.  

The luxurious glamour of Tamara Ralph is already looking like a perfect fit.
